The breakfast club is run from the school halls (BCPS, MCPS & WCPS) or the Cyber Cafe (YVPS). The after-school club is run from the Year 1 classroom (BCPS), Year 1 or Reception class (MCPS), Reception Class (WCPS) and the Cyber Cafe (YVPS). There is also access to the outside space, with equipment that the children can enjoy. Activities are organised by the staff on duty. Cereal and toast are offered to those children who attend breakfast club and snacks are available to those who attend after school.

The schools maintain a level of staffing in breakfast club and after-school club in accordance with Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

A minimum of two members of staff will be present on site during the opening hours of the breakfast and after school clubs. A leadership team member will always be available, each day that the club is open and for its opening hours.

Each school has a first aid policy. A qualified paediatric first aider will also be present on site at all times.

Also each school's administration of medicines policy is followed by the breakfast and after-school club.

Where a member of staff is absent, the leadership team member will ensure replacement staff are found so adequate ratios of staff to children are maintained at all times.

For all schools - We request that you use Wisepay to book and pay for your child’s place in the Breakfast Club and the After School Club. You need to select from a calendar view the days you wish to use the child care clubs and this then puts them into the shopping basket ready for you to pay for them when you have finished selecting all the days you require.
