ENRICHED LEARNING
We have thoughtfully developed and enriched our curriculum to maximise learning during the school day, while also significantly extending it through a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. At the core of our curriculum are the essential skills of reading, writing, and mathematics. In Key Stage 1, we follow the Read Write Inc. phonics and reading programme to ensure a strong foundation in literacy.
Technology is seamlessly integrated into daily teaching, with digital tools embedded across subjects to support a broad and balanced education. We deliver the national curriculum in a way that is both engaging and innovative—blending structured, subject-specific instruction with hands-on investigations and project-based learning to spark curiosity and deepen understanding.
PROVIDING
BALANCE
To ensure a well-rounded and balanced curriculum, we offer an extensive creative arts and sports programme. Pupils have the opportunity to take part in musical theatre, benefit from a dedicated art studio and specialist art teacher, sing in choirs across all age groups, and participate in both whole-class and Individual music lessons.Â
Our commitment to physical development is equally strong, with a wide range of sports and physical education activities integrated into the school day and beyond. Children also enjoy an active outdoor curriculum that includes Forest School sessions, working on the school allotment, and caring for our school animals—fostering responsibility, teamwork, and a connection to nature.
Empowering Learning Through Technology
Within our Trust, every child from Year 1 to Year 6 benefits from 1:1 access to digital devices, ensuring seamless integration of technology into daily learning. In our Early Years, children explore a wide variety of age-appropriate digital tools that also spark curiosity and creativity. Our flexible approach allows students to use devices confidently across different environments—whether in the classroom, at home, or outdoors. In addition, we make use of mobile digital technologies for activities such as recording, filming, measuring, and photography, enriching learning experiences and encouraging hands-on exploration.
