Cornerstone Open Events 2024
Join us for an insightful evening at Cornerstone
Event Highlights:
- Presentation by our CEO and Executive Headteacher Jonathan Bishop. At 6pm in the main hall will be a presentation by Jonathan about the curriculum we offer. This is a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about our educational approach.
- Devon Admissions Service will be joining us so you can get support with your primary school application.
- Sample delicious food prepared by our chefs and learn more about our dining services. Also joining us will be Goosemoor who supply all of our catering. “Goosemoor EduCatering is a Devon based family business bringing a fresh approach to school food, serving up local and affordable excellence into the dining hall. How do I attend?
Join us on the night of the open evenings (listed below) at your chosen school(s). Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our Leadership Team. They will provide you with an open evening pack, detailing the schedule and highlights of the event. The timings are below for each school:

- Clyst Heath Community Primary School | Thursday 21st Nov | 5pm – 7pm
- Marpool Primary School | Tuesday 26th Nov | 5pm – 7pm
- Countess Wear Community Primary School | Wednesday 27th Nov | 5pm – 7pm
- Yeo Valley Primary School | Thursday 28th Nov | 3pm – 5pm
- Broadclyst Community Primary School | Monday 2nd Dec | 5pm – 7pm
- Westclyst Community Primary School | Thursday 5th Dec | 5pm – 7pm
- Virtual Open Day | Monday 9th Dec

Not to worry, our open evenings run until December 5th where you can visit the other schools and ask questions, alternatively you can sign up to our virtual open event, bookings will be open soon so please check back.
Applications
The application window for September 2025 entry is open between 15th November 2024 and 15th January 2025.
You will need to apply through Devon Admissions. They will contact you in April to advise you of the school place you have been allocated. You can view more information here.
