Are you passionate about food and customer service? Join our vibrant catering team at Yeo Valley Primary School in Barnstaple, part of Cornerstone Academy Trust, and make a difference in our school community. We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to help deliver high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for our pupils and staff.
Your Role
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Support the catering team in daily operations and special events
- Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors
What You'll Bring
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Experience in a catering or food service role (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
What We Offer
- Salary: £13.69 per hour including holiday allowance
- Hours: 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday in term time
