At Cornerstone Academy Trust, we are committed to supporting every child’s communication development. Strong speech, language and communication skills provide the foundation for learning, confidence and social development.
To ensure that any additional needs are identified early, we use Language Link and Wellcomm screening tools. This page brings together helpful information, downloadable resources and trusted links to support you in understanding and developing your child’s speech and language at home.
Language Link
All children in Reception are screened using Language Link to help us identify any early speech or language difficulties. This enables us to provide timely, targeted support where needed.
Parent Portal – Free for Families
The Speech and Language Link Parent Portal is available free of charge and offers a wide range of activities, videos and advice to help you support your child at home.
