Café Manager
We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a Café Manager to join the team at Cornerstone Academy Trust. This is a unique role at the heart of our school community, combining catering, customer service, and creativity. The successful candidate will be responsible for serving the freshly cooked hot dinners for staff, preparing the staff lunches as well as managing a coffee shop that opens to parents and families each day after school.
You will prepare for lunchtime service which will include collating staff food orders and, alongside the Chef, ensuring meals are ready for the lunchtime period. You must be good at baking cakes and other treats as this will form a significant part of your role.
Your Role
- Serve freshly prepared staff lunches and manage daily café operations.
- Bake delicious cakes and treats—your creativity is welcome!
- Oversee the café’s afternoon opening for parents and families.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and manage payments via till and card systems.

What We Offer
- A Salary of £24,202 FTE | Actual Salary of £25,629 (40 weeks)
- Hours are 8:15am – 5:45pm, Monday – Friday, 40 weeks per year (Term time + 10 days)
