Mealtime Assistant

Would you like to be part of a busy catering team providing high quality, freshly prepared hot dinners for over four hundred children per day? We are wishing to recruit a Mealtime Assistant who is hardworking and a dedicated member of staff to aid in the smooth running of lunchtimes. You will be responsible for setting up the dining hall, helping the children with the lunch service and clearing up the dining hall after lunch.

Your Role

  • Set up and clear the dining hall
  • Deliver food to the tables
  • Support children serving during lunch service
  • Help maintain a calm, friendly environment 
  • Manage special diets and allergens

What We Offer

  • Hourly Rate: £13.68 (including holiday enhancement) 
  • Hours: 11:30am–1:45pm, weekdays, term time only (11.25 hours/week)
